A must 4-of in any vampire deck. after a 7 year hiatus from playing mtg, i came back and decided to play some standard. Built a mono black vamp and took three weekly FNM's back to back. Very pleased with this card, this site has the lowest price on it. Too bad itll be rotating out of standard soon :(

i recently pulled one of these in an m10 booster box. and soon im going to order 3 more vampire nocturnus's. awesome card!!!!!!!

Bought 4 for my vampire deck(s). Completely worth it.

Insane! without these my vampire deck would fail. (Go vamps!) managed to get 3 before the price went crazy. still looking for a fourth.

I'm just glad I pulled the one that I have now that it's so so expensive. But, alas, like baneslayer angel now that it has gone up I'll never be able to afford a playset and feel ok about spending the money. Thank you wizards for the mythic rarity....>_>

Vam Noc is soo OP as a mono black 4th drop,I play VN as such
1 drop Lacerator (you lose 1 life a turn,but ur swingin' for 2 for 1 black.great early odds
2 drop Bloodghast ( soo underrated in mono & dual black decks,only real option to deal early game is Path)
3 drop Vamp Nighthawk OR Gatekeeper,especially against hater decks running stable stags gatekeeper kicked pwns
4 drop Vampire Nocturnus running 20/22 lands odds are you'll flip black to pump ur vamps
5 drop Bloodwitch you gain back lacerator life lose AND she got proc from white (no exile 4 this bitch) flyer
6 IF you haven't already made quick work of ur opponent or you've had terrible draws and got beat down horribly,Turn 6 play Mind Sludge & scalp ur opponents hand & swing for the fences.
mind you during all the Mayhem,Mono black type II has soo many options for removal early (Disfigure) & the always handy Doomblade.I also recommend running 4 Sign in blood main deck.great way to draw into ur Noc combo OR use it against ur opponent for 2 dmg finishing shot

This is very nice. This one, vampire aristocrat, child of night.. I agree with preivious reviewer that the time might accually have come when u can accually play a honest to god, strait up vampire deck and not have to wait til turn 45678 before you can accually play something. Happy days :D! Although the early round instant and sorcery spammings were fun they couldnt ever compete with a well balanced deck, maybe now you can... sort of. At any rate, I like it.
