I'd have to agree with the opinion of the previous poster. This is one of many underrated cards. This might not be a dueling card but the sheer immensity of options you have with it are staggering. Pity it's a creature.

A little arachnid made of waste metal, not getting the love it deserves. The Dross Scorpion is THE card when playing with a deck based on artifacts, and playing cards like soul foundry and hornet cannon alongside. The dross scorpion can finish a game in a single turn with soul foundry, and if you sacrifice cards like the tokens that come from hornet cannon, you can also get an amazing amount of cards like lands with mind stone, copper myr, iron myr, silver myr, and sisay's ring. Using those same tokens you can untap Phyrexian Colossus without losing 8 life.
