White version of arcane denial-add ertai or forbid or something to counter 1 spell every turn for near complete lockdown. Also useful hoser for combo decks, weenie decks, anything that empties its hand in 3-4 turns regulary. I like with smokestack for horrible multiplayer locks.

Even better yet, because I think of lots of ways to control the piper situation, would be playing rule of law WITH a counter deck. Hmmm...Isochron Scepter w/ Arcane Denial + Rule of Law = Lock + Card Advantage.

Imagine this in conjunction with Elvish Piper. You lay creatures very powerful for one mana, and another smaller creature, while they can play a creature per turn. A two to one advantage. I built a very nice deck around this combo, and so far it has won 10 games and lost zero. (But don't use this against a counter-spell deck).

if you counter thier spell that counts as your spell for the turn but since they did not play anything they now have the oppertunity to do so although token gen plus this card equal lots of fun since you can make muliple creatures to there mesly one a turn oh so sad for them
