it's a must have in a counter spell deck. It makes any card, even the mightiest Enormous Baloth, Primeval Force or The Unspeakable countered. All the cards that your opponent has is now costs one more mana. It's cheap also...

This is one of the best blue cards for any counter-spell deck, because of its low mana cost! you play it in your second turn and do quite some damage to a oppeonent with a control deck even if he has creatures because of flying, not no mension countering one of his first spells!
