Island 338

although this site doesn't show it, the picture of this particular 'island' , and the last of them in this 'invasion' block, is another masterwork by artist extraordinaire john avon. i believe it shows a towering bluff on what looks like a coastal bay from the viewpoint of the beach on that bay. the cliff climbs out of the picture with the clouds and mist or fogs that mr. avon does so well. also, on the beach it looks like urza left his wizard's staff planted upright in the sand, although he himself is nowhere to be seen... in conclusion, an excellent piece and doubly so in the foil version. hurrah to you mr. avon for your continuing bravura and vision over the years...............
