This card is capable of having decks built around it. You can counter anything by just sacrificing a wizard.

Wizard Decks will emerge soon in type 2 and extended. I don't think this will get much type 1 play. Trust me. Buy the card now before they are selling them for 20 bucks a pop. This is the most powerful card in Onslaught, and will rule the type 2 metagame.-SopranosLuva-

This card is sick, Ive built a deck around it. Alot of power and good for control...I have a touch time in a wizard deck becasue there all so weak, but this guy is raw power.

I knew one of these days we were going to see Kai's face on his own card, and here it is. Voidmage Prodigy give's wizards an interesting advantage, making all of your wizards into Daring Apprentices of a sort. I don't see kai making it into many decks, unless they are completely laden down with wizards, and even then, the 'wizards' deck tend to lose to Mutilate quite often, and i would know, cause i played it for a while. But with the ability to create seemingly endless counter magic, im sure someone is going to break Kai eventually.
