This card is awesome... I like to attach Helm of the Ghastlord just to be a douche and double his effect. Combine with Distortion Strike or anything to give some sort of evasion and you're golden!

THE MOST under rated creature in magic.....if this guy is in play and your opponent has no blockers....game over. He must be dealt with or you WILL WIN...1 turn 2 turns.....oops 4 card advantage and they're beeeeeeeeeat...... barring a bolt or something to bounce/block with. Counter magic to protect him can simply just win you the game, no question. Really a sick sick creature for 3 mana my GOD!

This card is actually alot better than people give it credit. For instance i played this against one of my opponents, and he laughed proclaim he could kill my cutpurse in two turns, but in six more, my cutpurse was standing triumphiant over his beaten and battered deck. Well all players have to realise that it may not have the pure avodiance capability like Hippie, but he gives a large card advantage of 2. Turn after turn of eating this will make your opponent either go out of their way to kill it or wither on a stick as it beats them over their heads with a mallet. Pure goodness.

I like Hippie more. For one it flys and more importantly to me it forces a random discard. The fact that you might get rid of that Wrath of God or any other threat is huge. Dimir Cutpurse is still great. If you can clear a path for him to get through the card advantage generated can be game winning.

I think this is excellent card.I don't have this one but I do have hypnotic specter, but this one is better.Same stats (OK an island instead of swamp) and same ability like the specter + you get to draw a card!!!!That's great for 3 mana.

I agree. It's a super nice card, but he's never gonna replace the hippi! (first he doesnt fly, and in casual play lets see you get him in play on turn one w/ any consistancy!! :P) OH! if you like this guy you should also check out "Shadowmage Infiltrator"
