This cards great... under the right circumstances he can be devastating when he come out. If you find him in your hand and it doesnt make sense to bring him out at the time you can transmute him and have a fast track to something that does make sense.

It doesn't really matter what kind of deck your opponent has... I'd play it with something like Hunted Phantasm (look it up). After that play something that wipes out all of those little 1/1 tokens.... something like a Rain of Embers (again, look it up).
P.S. I usually play with 3 colors. It's alot more fun than 1 and 2.
