In combination with bayou this card makes black green decks like hermit druid preform on a level that used to be reserved for one color decks.

Having a forest or a swamp at your hands is awesome. In some cases you may need it really badly and will have to pay the 2 life but for the better. It's a also a great card to have for trades. The card itself can gain you many rares just for its cost.
