The cost may seem prohibitive, but there are plenty of ways to work it out!

"All is Dust" is the obvious combo card for it, and can make an artifact deck beyond hideous.

Personally, I love this guy in a White/Red deck running Serra's Sanctum.
Play Cataclysm - Choose Serra's Sanctum, Gemstone Array, Pyromancer's Ascension, and It That Betrays.
Every other player gives you almost everything else they own, and you can use Replenish to reclaim your enchants.
Use Misguided Rage and ITB' Annihilator value to pick up the scraps everyone choose to keep, and it's probably game.

This card has so much potential...

when i first saw this card i thought it was just OK... but then i was enlightened when i made my druid deck. at the end of thier fourth turn, i take controll of their lands. then, it being my fifth turn i play Spawnsire of Ulamog, with 7 mana to spare to pump out more druids. on their turn, they drop a land, which i take control of imediately. then i drop the eldrazi from my sideboard -- 4 It that Betrays, 3 Artizan of Kozilek, 1 Hand of Emrakul. then i swing. since i have thier land, they are forced to sacrifice all thier creatures and artifacts, before they can block. the game ends on my seventh turn, in control of everything they ever played, and swinging for over 70 damage. now that is epic.

Amazing card! But it should of been a legendary creature in my opinion. What happens when two of them are out...like if player "A" has one and so does player "B", then player "C" sacrafices a permanent?

Combine this with All is Dust, and you've just destroyed most to all of your opponent's permanents, but instead of going to the graveyard, YOU now have control of them. Mind-bendingly amazing!

This card is awesome with Diabolic Edict - against deck with Arcbound Ravager - Polluted Delta and co ! We all know the combo Phyrexian Dreadnought / Stifle this is the "poor solution" for this one ! 5 Stars for this underrated card !
