It''s like an artificer version of Seton, Krosan Protector. Turns things blue. Is a ''Lord'' of sorts. Broken with Pili-Pala... Just awesome. Bought my playset for $.49 a piece when scars first came out--Never regretted it.

Do yourself a favor and buy this card now before it's too expensive! Next set (Besieged) you get Treasure Mage which will not only let you grab a giant artifact, but then help you get it on the board so long as you have the Grand Architect present. He pumps your blue creatures, pumps your artifact creatures (by making them blue) and survives a Pyroclasm! What is not to love about this guy?!

This card is INSANE! An easy turn four ACTIVATED Mindslaver, turn 3 Molten-tail with enough left to regenerate, turn 3 Steel Hellkite TURN 3 WURMCOIL?! Keep in mind that he can tap the turn he comes into play (two or three blue creatures by turn three plus Architect can give 6-8 colorless on turn three). No question that this is the most underrated card in Standard play!! I won't even begin to imagine the possibilities in extended!! You can even use Everflowing Chalice to store/convert the mana he generates. In my opinion, this card is just WAITING to be broken!!
