incredibly underated i like to use this with cauldron haze and board wipe and cauldron of souls wipe the field while all your stuff comes back a lil smaller and thump them

wow. no other reviews?! in a deck with persist creatures (and there are LOTS) it totally neutralizes against cards like wrath of god. it can actually make board-sweepers to your advantage (you get an extra 2 life off of kitchen finks, etc.) and makes Soul Snuffers basically say "When Soul Snuffers comes into play. put a -1/-1 counter on each creature your opponent controls." Sound good? Yep. You can't play two cards like that in the same turn, though...well, not without Gae's/Glorious Anthem! Very cool.

This guy also has potential in sacrifice decks. Alone, it'll feed a lord of the pit or anything like that by persisting when you sacrifice it and then healing its own persist counter before you need to sac again.
