Just gotta say that a Turn:1 dark ritual with this and an unholy strength... I hope you''re playing plenty of removal. Though with all it''s abilities I plan to make this one of the stars in a {G/B} Stompy deck with Rancor and Bloodsoaked Champion.*Won many games with this either recurring it with a chump blocker and a free {B} or hardcasting then using Hatred to finish.*Silly combos excluded; I love this card. Haste, evasion and the ability to constantly be a threat, only drawback is it can''t block in 99.9% of situations.

My favorite shadow creature, hands down. And just to clarify; WoG, Damnation, Rout, etc. All happen symotaneously. Starting with the player w/ priority they sac all their creatures, then the next player w/ priority.

Fast, evasive, annoying and hard for opponents to get rid of, this is worth the money. And I beg to differ that there aren't tribal possibilities. Probably not tournament legal or whatever, but I play casual and this is a beast.

i looove it. combine with stronghold overseer and other cards that boost stats. it's basically unblockabe, and it never really dies!! unfortunately it's just a spirit, which throws out all tribal possibilities...but with glorious anthem and other power-boosters, and shriekmaw, your oppnent takes 6 evasive damage. or combine w/ other shadow creatures and stronghold over~ awesome!!

i love this card, it's a 1/1 for 2 black yes. but it's got haste + shadow AND it regenerates. but not really. if somone wog's or damnations...you cna bring it back later in the game if your other creaters die later. it's a nice little supprise.

Note, that if your opponent WoGs while you have the traitor and at least one other creature out, you can immediately pay the black to return him to the board.

1) WoG resolves
2) All creatures go to the graveyard, i believe their owners select in which order this happens
3) Nether Traitor goes to graveyard
4) Any other creature goes to graveyard
5) Nethertraitor's ability triggers
6) Pay the black, and in he goes.

Correct me if I'm wrong about step 2.

2 of these +liege of the pit = happy times.

or

2 of these + hivestone + basal sliver + consume spirit = the game.

Fun card.

The Nether Traitor should be a staple cheap creature in black decks in Type 2. It's a haste/shadow 1/1 for two that regenerates; what's not to like about it?!
