I'm quite partial to this particular variation of the "forest" we all know and love, cheers to Mr. Avon...

What I love the most is that you can play its ability as an instant! A must for any green deck!

The best card in the whole game. It kicks butt!

out of each of the basic lands in urza' saga, with four comprising the number of each differently drawn land(here a forest) Wizards of the Coast chose one to be foiled in the then new experiment of making ultra-rare cards(ok, basically foils). anyway, what's interesting to me is whoever had the buck stop with them chose the most INTeresting cards, at least creatively(in my humble opinion). without exception, the most interesting card representative of its mana base was chosen. coincidently or not, at least once again in this correspondence's opinion, MTG never reached these heights again except very sporadically on individual cards but thematically for a block......although some people give points for trying.

actually you can win without a forest in a deck !!!!!!!(mox emerald)!!!!!! duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh p.s. mana is bad!!! it really just isnt at all neccesary

this card taps for green mana which you need to cast green spells. you cant win with a deck of only these but you cant win without it in a green deck either.Numerically however it comes before forests 348, 349, 350, and 351
