Time Spiral is a great card especially with mana doublers -- and lands that tap for more than one mana (*cough*TolarianAcademy*cough*) abound but I should point out that it has no obvious interactions with Megrim and Geth's Grimoire since cards are not being discarded. You are probably thinking of Wheel of Fortune.

- and completely broken combined with Megrim and Underworld Dreams (and possibly Geth's Grimoire if you want to draw even more cards)

It's better to topdeck Time Spiral than the P9 Time Twister, since this untapt your lands. It's like a free "draw 7 cards" right off the top of your library. Crazy in stalled late-game where your opponent has more cards in hand.

Sometimes I wonder about the R&D department at Wizards of the Coast... I can only imagine what they were thinking when they designed this card: "Hmmm, you know, Timetwister is too powerful to ever be reprinted, but we really like the effect; why don't we fix Timetwister so it can be played in tournaments again?" So, that's what they did--they "fixed" Timetwister by--drumroll, please--MAKING IT FREE TO CAST! Way to go, guys...seriously, this card is BROKEN! It is as much responsible as Tolarian Academy or Mind over Matter for the meteoric rise of not one but two of the most sick and perverted decks ("Academy" and, later, "High Tides") ever to ruin a metagame. It's because of crap like this that blue was deemed "too powerful" by the Gods of Magic and is now the steaming pile of sucks-out-loud goodness that green used to be. Thanks, R&D.

One of those massive fabric-ripping cards. I know timetwister came first and costs half the mana, however I think Time Spiral is just as good simply because you can untap all your lands. This spell is effectively free, think about it. You get a reset library and then hand, and you've got all 6 of your mana to do something about it. I personally think timetwister's mana cost doesnt even matter because you usually would play a spell like this later in the game anyway for obvious reasons. Timetwister is better because it is the original, but if you really break it down pound for pound Time Spiral is just as good, hence why restrictions and bans have been widely placed on it. Horrendous raw power at its finest!!

If feel like having fun, this card will gve u and your opponents a fun game of magic.Of course u get the andvantage by being able to untap 6 of your lands. If u use this card make sure u have 3 or 4 so u can use them alot and get your freinds mad. This card has helped me alot.
