this creature is amazing... 1/2 for 1W maybe not much, but the ability to tutor equipment is insane. And she can put the equipment anytime by paying only 1W... Until legacy, this card is rocks!!!

good card, works nice with sword of feast/famine or basilisk collar.

Can't wait for the Scars of Mirrodin block... I'm pretty sure we'll see even more strong equipments for this baby to search for :P

Look through your deck for any equipment and add it to your hand. Even better is paying two mana to place it on the field! This cards effect is a steal! Good for getting out those Behemoth Slege early.

This card is awsome. If you haven't tried it you should. It went from like 20 foils and over 110 regulars to soldout in about 2 weeks. You get a 1/2 and a Steelshaper's gift all in one card. The Utility to find any equipment for the situation is incredible. In Type I you can find skullclap or any other equipment you need; and in extended you can get sword of fire and ice, jitte, or any other equipment to fit your need.

I hate seeing good cards priced-out of budget builds just because they're popular in standard. But the toughness 2 and the fact that it's fleshy and vulnerable means it gets plinked by Lightning Bolt, Go for the Throat, and even a non-metalcraft Galvanic Blast. For a player as noncompetitive as me, it's just not worth the money it would cost me to get a playset.

great card... i have some suggestions.... as of now.. where i play the meta game is kinda sneaky... if you use this card you better have the mana to cast your equipment the same turn or the next turn you can lose the equipment to duress, inquisition of krozleck.... if you have a leyline of sanctity out your ok.... now what i do is...
turn one plains, turn two squad hawk... turn 3, sphere of the suns..(land drops every turn) turn 4 stoneforge and then cast the equip... or you can hold the equip in your hand.. turn 4 after untap, use the ability of the stone forge during your upkeep.. before you draw... then draw, and then equip to the hawk, and swing... (i like to use body and mind, it works great against valicut decks) (or use the sword of feast and famine.. so no doomblades or go for the throats...
and in the current meta, no one uses darksteel plate? with a stone forge.. that is incredible... it stops a ton of spot removal, and day of judgement... i use darksteel with stoneforge, and suprise everyone... i give a creature pro colors of my choice with the two swords, and make it indestructible... i give it a 4 because its dead as soon as it hits the field.. and you rarely use the second ability.... this is a great card, and i hope it gets reprinted..

This was a great card. I used it in my lifegain deck to get out my argentum armors. It is quite sad that as of july first she will be banned from standard tournament play.

great card... the only problem is... duress or inquizition of krozlek..... you go and search for your win condition or boost... and if you dont cast it that turn... duress is gonna hurt... and its in galvanic blast range too..sure standard needs some search... how about making this card pro red and black? just add a white mana in its cost or... how about being able to use its ability as soon as i comes into play
like "search for an equipment card and put it into play... now that would be NASTY...
i give it 3 stars because of the cost... 2 to drop... 2 to use.. if it comes out, you better get out somthing thats gonna win you the game...
