Refund policy

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible trading card game (TCG) products. To qualify, items must be in the same condition received—unopened, unused, and in their original packaging with all seals intact. This includes sealed boxes, booster packs, elite trainer boxes, and other factory-sealed items. For single cards, returns are only accepted if the wrong card was shipped, the condition was incorrectly listed, or if the item arrives damaged due to our handling. We cannot accept returns for cards that have been removed from protective sleeves, handled, or otherwise altered from their delivered condition. Graded slabs must remain sealed in their original cases and free of tampering or cracks.

To initiate a return, please contact support@trollandtoad.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos where applicable. If approved, we’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and instructions. All returns must be shipped to:

Items returned without prior authorization or an RMA number will not be accepted. Returns due to our error (wrong item, incorrect condition, or shipping damage) will receive a prepaid return label. Returns for any other reason (such as buyer’s remorse) must be shipped at the customer’s expense. Shipping, taxes, and international duties are non-refundable.

Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us immediately of any damages or discrepancies. If you receive the wrong item or a product arrives defective, we will evaluate the issue and provide a replacement, refund, or store credit where appropriate. For sealed TCG items with potential manufacturer defects (e.g., missing packs or misprints), we may direct you to the manufacturer’s customer service for resolution.

We do not offer returns or refunds on opened sealed products, digital goods, store credits, or final-sale items clearly marked at checkout. Once a sealed product is opened, its contents are considered random and collectible by nature, and we cannot guarantee or verify original factory contents.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method or, if requested, as Troll and Toad Credits for future purchases. Please note that your financial institution may take additional time to post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact support@trollandtoad.com for assistance.

If your order was shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason, provided that sealed and collectible items remain unopened and in original condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part.
