Return of the Duelist was the 44th expansion of the Yugioh TCG. It was released in August of 2012 and consisted of 111 cards total. Noteworthy cards from Return of the Duelist include Heroic Champion - Excalibur, High Priestess of Prophecy, Madolche Puddingcess & Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis.
This set first introduces the “Chronomaly”, “Elemental Lord”, “Heroic”, “Hunder”, “Madolche”, and “Prophecy” archetypes and series. Support for many other archetypes is present in this set, such as: “Gagaga”, “Number”, “ZW”, etc. This set also features cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime series. Released along with this set was the Return of the Duelist: Special Edition set.
